About the Seminar
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming the way organization’s function, students learn, and societies communicate. While AI brings efficiency, innovation, and new opportunities, it also raises serious concerns related to ethics, human values, accountability, privacy, bias, and decision-making. In sectors such as management and education, AI tools are increasingly being used for recruitment, performance evaluation, learning analytics, content creation, and policy decisions. However, without ethical frameworks and value-based guidance, the use of AI may deepen inequalities, weaken human judgment, and compromise social trust.
India, with its rich civilizational heritage of ethical thinking, inclusive values, and social responsibility, is uniquely positioned to contribute to global discussions on ethical AI. This Seminar aims to bring together scholars, educators, policymakers, and practitioners to critically examine the intersection of values, ethics, and innovation in the AI era, especially in the context of management practices, educational systems, and the emerging digital society.
