The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a youth program launched by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in India in 1969. The program aims to provide an opportunity for students to participate in community service and social work, and to develop their personality and leadership skills. The NSS aims to instill in young people a sense of social responsibility and to develop their leadership qualities through participation in community service. The program has been successful in fostering a spirit of volunteerism and social service among Indian youth and has contributed to the development of a number of social and community projects across the country.

Foster the same, NSS cell of KRCHE plays a vital role in the overall development of students and society. The NSS cell provides a platform for students to actively participate in community service activities such as awareness campaigns, cleanliness drives, plantation activities, health camps, blood donation camps, and disaster management activities. These activities help in the development of the community as well as inculcate a sense of social responsibility in the students and play a crucial role in providing a platform for students to develop their personality, leadership skills, and social responsibility.
